Instructor Salvador Nieves

Instructor Sal Nieves started his Taekwondo journey in 2011 at ATC Martial Arts located in Corona. Under the instruction of Grandmaster Miguel A. Lind and Master Johnny Fernandez. Instructor Sal learned both styles of International Taekwondo Federation (ITF) and World Taekwondo (WT).

During his time at ATC, Instructor Sal would participate in tournaments and promote Taekwondo through ATC’s demonstration team. Upon receiving his 1st Dan, he would begin to assist and teach classes at ATC. Although he was teaching, he made sure to learn even more than before so he can deliver a quality class.

In the summer of 2018, he felt a need to search for more knowledge and become much more proficient in sparring which in turn lead to him joining 540 Taekwondo. Today he continues to train and improve his sparring and competes in local tournaments. He also participates in seminars and rumbles to ensure his skills remain sharp.
